This is a collection of 5 x 20g ready wound 'roses'. It is available in a Deluxe High Twist Merino Sock Yarn ~ 85% Extrafine Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon (360m / 100g).
This yarn base is soft, strong and perfect for socks, shawls and accessories.
All our skeins are hand-dyed in small batches using a range of professional acid dyes. We are conscious to be environmentally sound in our process and we, therefore, ensure that all the dye used is fully exhausted. We rinse the skeins until no colour remains, however, please be aware that a slight amount of colour bleed could occur and so we always suggest washing separately and by hand.
All indie dyed yarns are unique by virtue of the techniques used. This means that no two skeins will ever be exactly the same - the charm of indie dyeing!

It was with the greatest excitement that I opened my parcel on my birthday and although I had an idea of what it contained since I had put in the order myself, I was not quite ready for the heart flutter which followed! My goodness, treats after treats, so, so much kindness, generosity and talent ... I was and still am truly blown away! ... I shall treasure everything, promised! I am building a little collection of minis to either knit the Habitation thrown or crochet the Festive shawl ... I have a bit more time to decide which one to go for!

Beautifully packaged delivery from @mrandmrsrabbityarns - thank you.The Old English Rose Summer Collection looks just like a bouquet and the red, called Claire's Red Dress, is a stunning rich red that my phone doesn't do justice. The postcard was quite apt given today's earlier purchases 😉

It's here!! The long-suffering postmen and women of two continents have done their hard work and my parcel has made it to suburban Melbourne, Australia.

Thank you so much. The yarn is gorgeous, just as it appears on the site. I say this because photographing yarn is such a hard task to do well, and monitors and phones show colour differently and well, it's a challenge for every hand dyer to get that part of the work running well. You've done it, no small feat; congratulations!

Special thanks for the myriad of lovely freebies. I'm a welded on tea drinker (Pukka), wanting to try Clipper but it's not available in Australia. So I'll enjoy that. Lavender is my favourite, so that will be straight to the hand-knitted sock drawer, as will the lovely extra mini skeins you sent once they are made into sock heels and toes. Very thoughtful and generous, thank you. And finally, one can never have too many stitch markers so I shall enjoy the gorgeous rabbit very much.

Thank you again for a beautifully packaged, and wonderful parcel!

I shall send pictures once said wrap is completed :)
